Guitar Lessons with Steve - Skype/Online, or 1-2-1 Tuition.
I offer guitar lessons in my own home, or I can travel to you, within a radius of 15 miles or so. I like to keep busy as a guitar tutor and specialise in one to one guitar and bass tuition. My studio is located in Clacton-On-Sea, Essex. Please read the information below to find out more about my lessons and the graded examinations I am able to offer.

Online Guitar Lessons - Now Available
I can now offer guitar lessons through Skype and Facebook/Google, where possible.
It's easy, email/call/skype/facebook me and book a slot.
The cost of each guitar lesson is £30 per hour.
You can make payments easily using the PayPal button opposite.

Please ensure you have a decent webcam and fast broadband connection.
Please note : once payment is received, no refunds are available.
Please ensure payment reaches me 48 hours before lesson commences.
Lessons are available in one hour slots, during that time you will have my complete attention, and we can focus on your goals. A one off lesson, or having lessons for as long as you need/want them to, are all available. It's your time so make the most of it!
Should there be any need to write any TAB or manuscript or notes down, I will make a point of stating so in the lesson. As a backing track writer, I can make up jam tracks for you to practise to.
You can study whatever you like, either learn your favourite songs and build up your repertoire, work on your technique, or study for a recognised qualification from the London College Of Music, whatever you need. All levels and abilities are welcome.

Steve is a registered member of the Registry of Guitar Tutors (RGT), with over 15 years teaching experience, having taught guitar at the M.I. London Guitar Institute in 1996 after passing the diploma course with Honours.
Steve is able to teach up to Grade 8 London College of Music examinations and Rockschool Grades, and has helped many musicians boost their UCAS/ACAS points helping them gain entry to university.
He teaches students who regularly take and pass RGT graded examinations, and Rockschool Grades, both of which are fully accredited examinations.
Steve has taught at schools, 6th form colleges and universities over the years. Holding a 4 year teaching position teaching A-level performance in London, as well as an evening lecturer in association with Hertfordshire university.
Having taught hundreds of guitarists from beginner to seasoned professional, Steve is a renowned guitar tutor. All have gained from Steve's deep insight into what it takes to be a musician. He has learned from some of the best in the business and has studied and taught guitar styles ranging from Rock to Jazz giving him the edge over many musicians in todays current climate.
A firm believer in knowing your theory inside out, Steve has been responsible for helping many musicians go onto achieve their own musical goals, from being a working musician, to signing with touring bands and gaining degrees in music.
Steve continues to teach guitar privately and over the years has taught countless guitarists of all ages, styles and levels, many of whom have gone onto become full-time professional musicians or go on to take degrees in music and music performance.

Steve recommends Steinberg audio interfaces such as the UR22, UR44 and UR824, as well as Steinberg's Cubase recording software.
Steve writes all his own backing tracks for many well known companies and private clients, and is able to offer music production tuition at his home studio.
